Camberley "Prohibition"

As of yesterday our "Prohibition" is sold out. This wine was our first screwcap enclosured wine and was 100% Cabernet Sauvignon oaked for 28 months. Prohibition was a combination of 10 barrels out of 14 , the remaining 4 being selected for our Reserve Cabernet.

A wine called "The Cherry" which is 100% Shiraz will take its place at the R65 price point. Obvious cherry flavours on the palate - hence the name of the wine.

Camberley "Prohibition"has had spectacular success in the overseas markets, so this type of wine will definitely be a fixture here into the future. Keep checking the Wines section on our website for the latest additions to our range.

Shiraz 2008 to be released soon!

Exciting news! We are about to bottle the new shiraz 2008 on the 27th of July. We have been quite excited about this one for a while – it has been tasting sensational in the barrels, with a very similar taste profile and style to the 2006 and 2007 releases, with a new label by artist Mauro Chiarla. I will post the pictures of what the label will look like as soon as we get it from the design team. Unfortunately, we had to make the shiraz in very small quantities this year again, so it may be quite hard to get hold of!
